I discovered my love for Yoga at a quaint Yoga Shala in Tribeca, New York. With one foot dipped in Corporate America, Yoga every Sunday at the shala kept me wanting more of an in-depth study of these esoteric yogic sciences. Moving back to India allowed me the opportunity to pursue my passion for yoga.

In 2010 I finally took the plunge & quit my job in Google, Delhi allowing me to take up the study of Yoga full-time. I started with a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in Sivananda Ashram, Madurai, and then another 200-hr Teacher Training in Yogaworks, NYC. Both these teacher trainings were formative periods for me as a yoga teacher. My teacher training gave me a launchpad to truly align with my devotion to yoga. From 2011 I have built upon my teaching & self-practice, learning along the way. Learning & practicing with some of the best Yoga Teachers in this world has allowed me to find my unique teaching style. My love for yoga is immense, and I learn something new every day during my yoga practice. This keeps me so alive, and I truly want to spread my passion and love for yoga to my students.

Ever since, I have been teaching in India, Dubai & now back in India. During these years I have also had the opportunity to foray into learning & teaching Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Ariel Yoga, Les Mills Body Balance, Tibetan Sound Healing, Yoga Nidra.

As my understanding of yoga has increased, so has my desire to gain knowledge of the self. This has led me to formally begin my studies of Vedanta with The Chinmaya Mission.

Dancing between Yoga & Vedanta, I found a surprising penchant for Sanskrit, The Bhagwat Gita & Vedic Mantras. I am currently pursuing these studies, and love integrating this knowledge into my yoga classes.

Following the truths of Ayurveda has kept my practice steady, and my body light. I have truly found balance with food. And, I love helping my students understand the simplicity & benefits of Ayurvedic living.

Yoga is a holistic science. It is not merely physical. Once we start practicing this science, we discover the many subtle nuances of it. I have found joy in discovering these layers, and now teaching them.

It is truly an honor to teach yoga & spread my passion in the world.

I am forever grateful to my gurus, and the teachers who have guided me on this path. A special mention goes to my best friend Ira Trivedi, who always pushed me to do more.
